The TCA is the peak representative body for Australia's trustee corporations industry.

TCA members comprise all of the Public Trustees and most of the private trustee companies.

Statutory trustee corporations have been prudently managing Australians' financial and personal affairs since the late 1800s.

Today, TCA members provide a comprehensive range of services to millions of individual, family, and corporate clients, involving over $500 billion of assets.

What's New

  • At the TCA's Annual General Meeting on 22 March, John Atkin (CEO of the Trust Company Ltd) took over as National President of the TCA.
  • In March, Parliament passed the Corporations and Other Legislation Amendment (Trustee Companies and Other Measures) Bill 2011, which refines the national regulatory regime for trustee companies that commenced in May 2010 (the explanatory memorandum for the amendments can be viewed here).
